Great DVD

I just love my Taber's. It helps me pronounce all the medical terms I'm having trouble with. Thanks for making the best dictionary!

I WANT TO BUY THE CYCLOPEDIC 21ST
ON DVD. CAN I NOT?
FROM WHAT I AM SEEING, THE CD INCLUDED WITH THE PAPER BOOK, IS
NOT THE FULL TEXT BUT AN ADDITIONAL
TOOL. IS THAT CORRECT?

That is correct - the "bonus" DVD (a.k.a. Taber's Plus DVD) comes with every printed version of the 21st edition. It includes extra learning tools, including:
- 30,000 audio pronunciations, as well as the printed pronunciation
- 1,000 images that include the term's definition and its pronunciation
- Brain Teasers: educational learning tools like flashcards, crosswords, and "Name the Term" games

The electronic version of the dictionary (DVD, version 4.0) includes all the terms and their definitions, including some unprinted terms (rare or obsolete terms)as well as the 1,000 images. You also get audio pronunciations wherever the printed pronunciation shows. You can also search much easier with the electronic product, so that if you are searching for all mentions of skin cancer in the book, you'll find it much easier using the electronic product.

Please feel free to ask any more questions about Taber's 21st edition.
